We are starting 2020 with some updates to our portfolio. We are sharing more of our Brandon Circle project today- last week we shared the living room and today we are giving you a before and after of the dining room. This room started with some pretty bare bones and we wanted to make it a special room to serve as the backdrop for their gatherings.
BEFORE
We wanted to highlight the trim work and brighten the room up with paint and new furniture. So, every existing piece had to go for a total refresh. (Don’t worry though, we repurposed that rug in another project that we will share soon!)
AFTER
We used and painted the room in it’s entirety, even the ceiling. I love how the pale color encloses this room yet brings in so much light! It pairs perfectly with all of the natural wood tones too.
We chose each piece carefully so that we could create layers of pattern and texture without making the room overly busy.
We kept the accessories to a minimum so that the room feels serene and formal.
But, I love that it is still approachable and livable for real life!
